What is Lightspeed X-Series × Woocommerce integration?

SKU IQ is a no-code connection layer between your existing Lightspeed X-Series POS and your Woocommerce store. It is not a new POS, an ERP, or an inventory suite. Lightspeed X-Series stays your POS, Woocommerce stays your online store, and nothing migrates off either system.

Once connected, your inventory works as one shared source of truth. A sale in-store drops available stock in Woocommerce. An online order updates inventory in Lightspeed X-Series. Supported product details carry across according to the system you set as primary, so your catalogue stays consistent without double entry.

SOLUTIONS OVERVIEW

Why retailers connect Lightspeed X-Series × Woocommerce

Stop overselling

When a customer buys in-store through Lightspeed X-Series, Woocommerce stock drops. When a customer orders online, Lightspeed X-Series inventory updates. SKU IQ keeps both sides aligned so you are not selling inventory you no longer have.

No double data entry

Set the primary system for supported product fields, then update details such as title, price, colour, size, or SKU in one place. SKU IQ carries supported changes across based on your sync settings.

Keep systems you already use

SKU IQ is not a new POS, ERP, or inventory suite. It connects the Lightspeed X-Series POS and Woocommerce store you already run, so your team can keep selling the way it sells today.

Two ways to unify your inventory

After you connect Lightspeed X-Series and Woocommerce, you tell SKU IQ how products relate across both catalogues. Most retailers use more than one of these routes during setup.

Link existing items

Fastest way to start when products already exist in both systems. SKU IQ scans your Lightspeed X-Series and Woocommerce catalogues, then matches items by title, SKU, or UPC. You review the suggested matches and choose which products to link. Title matching works when spelling matches.

Push a catalogue across

Best when one platform has products the other platform is missing. SKU IQ can copy an item to the other platform and link it automatically. You can push products yourself in batches, or schedule a full SKU IQ migration for a larger catalogue.

What arrives in Lightspeed X-Series with each Woocommerce order
Each Woocommerce order brings the order number, customer name, order date, line items, quantities, unit prices, and order total into Lightspeed X-Series. Orders sync into Lightspeed X-Series for record-keeping and inventory; payment processing stays in Woocommerce.

‍Multi-location note: SKU IQ is built for single-location retailers syncing one POS to one store. If you manage multiple locations, talk to SKU IQ about your setup before starting a trial.

Setup in minutes

What to expect during setup

You do not need developers or code to connect Lightspeed X-Series and Woocommerce with SKU IQ. If products already exist on both platforms, most retailers are syncing the same day.

Linking existing products is quick. Pushing a catalogue across takes longer: roughly an hour per 50 items, one batch at a time. Larger catalogues can be migrated for you by the SKU IQ team.

1

Create your SKU IQ account

Select Woocommerce + Lightspeed X-Series to begin the guided setup.

2

Connect both platforms

SKU IQ loads your catalogues through the guided flow, and nothing is altered until you confirm what should sync.

3

Run a link report

SKU IQ matches products by title, SKU, or UPC so you can review and confirm which items belong together.

4

Review unmatched items

If a product does not match, fix spelling differences or push the missing item across to the other platform.

5

Validate Sync

Test one or two products first so you can see inventory and supported product fields update as expected.

6

Choose sync & go live

Choose which platform controls supported product details, then enable auto-push if you want new items to appear on the other side automatically.

Migrating a large catalogue

If you need to move many products from Lightspeed X-Series to Woocommerce, or from Woocommerce to Lightspeed X-Series, SKU IQ gives you two routes.

Push it yourself
Select up to 50 items at a time. Each batch takes about an hour, and batches run one at a time. This route works well for smaller catalogues, but it becomes slow past a few hundred products.

Have SKU IQ do it
A bulk push migrates the entire catalogue in one scheduled operation run by the SKU IQ team. If anything goes wrong, SKU IQ fixes it. The migration needs no input from you during the process, is quoted by catalogue size, and is scheduled through Support.

A bulk push is optional. On any paid plan, there is no limit on how many products can be pushed in total. A bulk push buys speed and a hands-off migration, not access.
