Q) How quick is the setup?
A) While Sku IQ integrates out of the box with Shopify and only takes seconds to connect, the Sku IQ Lightspeed OnSite installation will require a few extra steps to get connected. When you first sign up for Sku IQ we require some information from your Lightspeed OnSite POS and then will provide you an installer for your computer.
Q) Is there a setup fee?
A) No setup fees required unless there is a configuration that needs to be done with the setup of your store. These are optional.
Q) How often does the syncing occur?
A) Shopify syncs to/from Sku IQ in real-time. Lightspeed OnSite syncs new orders, new products, and product changes to Shopify every 20 minutes. Sku IQ also does a full quantity sync with Lightspeed OnSite every 24 hours to check for discrepancies.
Q) Will all products be imported?
A) All products will be imported from Shopify but you will have the choice, before connecting Lightspeed OnSite, to import all products or just products marked for the “web” in Lightspeed OnSite.
Q) When connected to Shopify and Lightspeed OnSite, will the inventories be linked right away?
A) No, your Lightspeed OnSite inventory will import separately from your Shopify inventory and will not be combined automatically.
Q) Will changes to the Lightspeed OnSite product data be synced to my Shopify website?
A) If you update a product in Lightspeed OnSite that is linked to a product in Shopify, it will sync the changes to Shopify. By default, the only field that will be overwritten from Lightspeed OnSite to Shopify is the quantity. Additional field syncing is available in your settings.
Q) Will changes in Shopify send back to Lightspeed OnSite?
A) No, changes in Shopify do not populate back into Lightspeed OnSite. Sku IQ’s Lightspeed OnSite sync is currently one way, meaning data from Lightspeed OnSite will be received, but data will not send back into Lightspeed OnSite.
Q) Can I connect multiple Lightspeed OnSite locations to Sku IQ?
A) No, Sku IQ only supports one Lightspeed OnSite location.
